Hi all, I just recently acquired a '53 customline and was wondering if anyone has good places to find parts for restoring the car. I mainly need exterior pieces, mainly a new front bumper if possible along with quarter panels if possible. This is my first restoration and any and all info help a ton! 20180827_201906.jpg

  3. ^^^ Good advice above. But be aware, there isn't a ton of reproduction stuff for these. Most mechanical parts and 'soft' parts (weatherstripping, etc) are available, but trim items are pretty much limited to small bits like emblems and plastic parts. You won't find complete quarterpanels, but I believe you can get patch panels.

Front bumpers are not available new, you're stuck with either finding a nice used one or having yours rechromed.

Get that rust killed on those front fenders. What you can see from the outside is going to be tripled underneath.
