after moving jobs and taking a break from my car i’ve started putting in some hours in

i raised the slant on the windshield and chopped it 3 inches.

my car club brother wrecked his 50 pontiac and i was able to save the rear glass and roof section
    and both front fenders

i’ve mocked up the pontiac passenger fender on the drivers side of the chrysler

You might want to try inverting the rear window, to see how it flows.

Those Pontiac fender pieces look really good on there, I could see that working out. Roof shape looks nice as well.

Man, I'd hate to bog you down from priority items (i.e., windshield), but even the slightest dip in the door tops would do wonders for that massive lower body.
Hard to source, and hard to duplicate...but Oooh, so sweet!

    Cool, Bear!
    Hey...another early '50s Chrysler custom!
This is crackin' me up. choptop knows...I just bought a '53 Chrysler Newport 2dr hardtop project the other day. Then I see both of your threads come up yesterday and today. Didn't even have to search.
Kinda funny too...Bear...you said this car is for practice. You better be careful though...you're doing a some cool and extensive mods. You might accidentally finish it and win custom car of the year or something, lol.
You guys have a head-start on me. I better get humpin'.

I'm doing a 53 windsor also, I'm interested in the motor mount system and the clearance of the exhaust header and the steering arm.
