Those all look so good I defiantly am going more for the hardtop with the shortened roof Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
The chopped, hardtopped and shortend roof one reminds me a lot of a stretched out version of the Ed Sloan '53 Plymouth, which is a great car to take inspiration from.
Cut the b pillar off car And trimmed it down Goal for this week is to get the door cut and extended Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Hope to see you bring this thing full circle, making something out of nothing in a way. Im no fab pro here but it does seem like you would be better off using a back glass surround that actually had a glass in it or at least one that you could get one for versus having to cut or make a glass.
The 1954 Chrysler has all the same glass except the three piece rear window the 54 was changed to a one piece.
bearv81219 These Chrysler's are rare to begin with...and are cool to begin with. Build it; drive it; enjoy it ! Jonnie www.legends.thewwbc.net

Set the Mach up engine and trans in the car to get an idea of what's going on in there Plenty of room Going to cut out some of the firewall to get the engine set back a little more Crossmember mount set up I bought won't work but I will be able to chop it up and use pieces of it Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Took advantage of the days great weather and got a lot of work done on the 53 Dragged the car around and got the car in the shop and welded the post onto the car and tacked up the qtr panel The door opens and shuts great Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Bear -this is great work and a fantastic project. I'm starting to look on C/L for a 4 door me-too project. You're making a hard job look way too easy. Question: what are you going to do for side glass now that your car is a hardtop not a post? Are those year cars using straight sided glass, where you could cut a larger piece down from a different car?
I'm not sure what I'm gunna do for side glass I'll figure that out once I get to that point Or Probably just run it without side glass Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
