Customs 1953 Chevy Kustom Tail Lights

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Mr Diablo, Aug 3, 2009.

  1. Started Saturday Morning 9.30am and worked till 11.30 that night and Sunday morning at 9am and painted by 11am..
48 Caddy tail light quarters bought off ebay and just knew they would work over the Chevy bumper gaurds...So happy with the way it turned out...I have never seen it done like this before... Just waiting for a gasket kit to arive before I put the tail lights back in..

Now I like that. I tend to like changes that look like it might have came out of the factory that way.

  9. I wanted that factory look...I didn't want the caddy fin it at all, people would identify it straight away with the caddy fin..

That looks fantastic ... Not just the lights, but the whole combination of parts.

Great exhaust placement. Will they be finished off with a doughnut/collar?

I hope we'll be seeing more of this one!

Cool shit right there! Are you running bloomers on the skirts or did you make something up?

Been thinking about something like bloomers to get the rear of my 54 to look lower.

  28. Running bloomers, bought them from Chev's of the 40's
