It's been done a million times and talked about here a thousand times. Walton makes motor mounts if you're a bolt-in kind of guy or you can make your own frame mounts and modify the stock trans crossmember. Gotta ditch the closed driveline rear axle in favor of open driveline. Camaro's & S-10's are good rear end donors. You have to trim the vertical firewall supports to clear the motor and ditch the stock parking break assembly. Use a 55-57 Radiator, they fit with minor modification and cool better than the stock '53-54 radiator. Also must use rear exit driver's side manifold to clear stock pitman arm.
