  6. Lol the guy who had it before me put this grill from a 1957 Bel Air that was the first thing I had to rip off.

  7. I am going to c notch the rear, 4 link, mustang II frnt suspension, bag the car with an accuair air ride system, replace the drive train with a 350, 700r4, and I got a 10 bolt from a late 60's Impala. The guy who built the car last butchered it so I have a lot to tear apart. The tail lights were cut out and replaced with some kind of pos lights so I'm going to put in some 55 bel air tail lights, the floor is shot so I got a 1 piece floor for it and I bought almost every panel EMS makes for it. There is a ton of rust so plenty of metal work. I haven't tackled anything this involved before but should be a blast.

Looks like your off to a good start, love my 54'. You probably already know but Gambelle makes a great step knotch for cheap money. I used theirs but just went with a deep static lowing but would allow me to go air ride later. Yoe might want to make sure that you have enough room for the 700-r under the stock tunnel while you're redoing the floors. Cool build ,post a lot of pics

Just striped my lower 1/4 's due to work showing through when the old owner stripped and repainted the 54 about 10 years ago. What i found looked like your lower 1/4 ,all little hackleberry pieces welded up . I 'm hoping the ems panels fit well that i got for it,have you done anything with your 1/4's yet ?. Frame looks good.

  12. No I had cut the passenger side and lined up for grins and it did line up nice but the floors were so far gone I decided to go all the way and take it down to the frame

  18. I'm seeing nothing traditional about this build.
