Projects 1952 Plymouth Belvedere hardtop wagon

  1. started this project in 1997. sold it to a friend about 2 years ago as a rusty project .damn if he didn't make it work.
    Can't get the photos to up load I'll have to get to my laptop

    LOVE IT!!...but how do the rear wheels come off/on? I really like the interior. What's it running?

    Thanks for the positive feedback,
    @ fleet-master; Jack it up, let air out of the tires, remove lug bolts and take them off. Have done this a couple times now, work well. Being a one off car I wanted to use a mopar running gear.. V-8's are overused in customs, and I am not a "More HP" type so I bought a 65 Dart, with a 225 slant six & small torque-flight even used the matching rear axle, (narrow enough to make the rear tires removable)
    I am nearing completion on this project, after two years work, when done my next project is to complete thread on the project, with my computer skills that may take longer than the build itself.

    They also came from the Dart, still working on interior... need carpet, seat base, (added 2" in height so I could see out the windshield)trim, console... Bob

    You did a hell of a job on that wagon! I'm glad that someone was able to take Jim's vision to completion. I'm just down the road from you and Jim keeps saying he wants to take me to see it in person, we just haven't had the time.
