    Pontiac Straight-8s were all flatheads -- right?

    But maybe not in New Zealand?

    The clutch on my 50 was frozen up too but, after I revved it up a little and eased the clutch out and in it broke loose and works fine now. I suspect that it is your clutch as well. Does the clutch pedal feel like it has any resistance as you push on it?
