Any recommendations on a new/replacement gas tank? I have searched a few places and it looks like ebay might be the cheapest.

    Thanks.

Try gastanks.com got my 68 Camaro tank from them. Good quality, reasonable shipping, made in Canada. Worth a look to see if they have what you need.

1949 - 52 Plym/Dodge/DeSoto/Chrysler all the same. I looked for one a few years ago with no luck. I did find a universal fit hot rod tank on the net that had practically the same dimensions but it would have been necessary to modify it to fit the stock type fuel filler pipe.

Be leery of the cheapest tank. It needs to be made out of good metal and terne plated to keep off rust. Plain steel will rust out in months if it is not protected.
