The comment on the chop is just a selfish desire, I think a chop will compliment this smooth custom to the max. Carry on dudes, she is lookin awesome, the 54 t.l. are dead on. Love it Love it, yes, I love it. ~sololobo~

the skirts are sick! you do some really clean repairs! especially when you make a panel from scratch.

Wow, thank you guys for all of the kind words! I'm off for the summer and making some great progress. I'm about 90% finished with frenching the skirts...passenger side is completed. Next up is rockers, floors, lower cowl, etc...then chop :)

Thanks again for following the build,
    Rob

i remember i was followin your progress of your 'box on Ruffrodders many years ago when it still had bags and was real impressed w/ the quality of your work.
As difficult as it seems i can see an incredible improvement of your skills, some thing i didnt think possible back then.

Putting in some serious work and craftsmanship my friend.

  20. Beautiful work. The grille opening is perfect, and the skirts, with the shaped opening look killer.

    Nice job!

Why did you cut out the top of the 1/4 window frame? Does that help eliminate the need to either relief cut, or replace metal on the roof above it?

    Thanks guys!

cretin, the quarter window area was cut separate and slid back to keep the openings their original length.
