Thought that I would post the new look of my buddy "Biff" Willey`s 51 chevy deluxe. Took us around 4 weeks to get her ready....had to be done by the 28th cause he was getting hitched. Here are some pics of before and through build to finish. getting started, look at those floors! new paint on dash. new shoes after blast and paint and treads. floor update my first set of door panels. new carpet and lots of Mexico! back on the ground June 24th all cleaned up. We also dropped the rear 3 inches and added spot lights. Still have to put in new headliner and do a tuck and roll on the seats and chrome bumpers, but for know very pleased, finally looks like she should. Let me know what you think, 55_nail
I think it looks pretty cool like it is, including the bumpers. Heck, I'm running my '51 with rusty bumpers. Cooter
Thanks from everone.....when Biff gets back from the honeymoon he will really dig all the comments! I am still just in aw of how all the simple changes we did....made the car completely different!! it was a cool car to begin with but now she is right inline...not only has the look improved, the ride is excellent know too....has the right lean and is a real cruiser. 55_nail.
looks really sweet, the ride height stance is just right ;low but not to low, I'd paint the door jambs black though...they kinda looked outa place being white . Brian.
Great job, I have thing for satin black, white and mexican blanket combo's. Planning similar treatment for my 54 Chevy truck.
Great look on the door panels!....overall nice job...Im achrome bumper guy myself but your car pulls of the painted bumpers just fine!...makes me wish I had mine all over again!
looks nice, I have a 52 also, I was wonderin where you got the panels and supports for the floors?? keep up the good work, later
Wow... All of the comments are simply amazing! It was definitely a Scramble but we made it and it worked. Now with the new tires I can run about 10 mph faster then before. A special thanks for 55_nailhead. With out you cussing and bleeding with me, this whole build wouldn't be possible. I got all of the parts for the floor from Chev's of the 40's and the national Chevy association. If your in need of some front floor pans I have them. When we tore out the interior, I found that I needed some more metal so I ended up just buying bigger floor pieces. So I have some small boards that I need to sell for the front. Let me know if anyone is interested! Thanks again for all of the nice talkin'! Biff
