Here are three different 160 mph mechanical speedometers that Stewart-Warner made in the 1950's-1960's. All of these instruments work & include mounting brackets & working lights (where applicable). They all fit into the standard 3-3/8" hole. The bezels are in nice shape & have no dings or corrosion. The glass is clear & free of scratches. (1) ***SOLD**** This one is from the 1960's & is commonly referred to as the Large Logo or Big Block style. I did have the bezel off of it to clean the underside of the glass, dust off the face & touch up the needle. The needles on these were known to flake a bit over time. $185 on this one. (2) ***SOLD***This one was made by Stewart-Warner for the supercharged Studebaker Golden Hawks in the mid to late 1950's. This particular one is dated 1957. It has the cool & unusual V-Tail pointer. I did have the bezel off of this one for a cosmetic restoration, i.e. cleaning, repainting of the metal flange that retains the glass & reseating the gaskets. $165 on this one. (3) ***SOLD****This one is RARE. It was made in late 1954 for the one year (1955) Studebaker Speedster. Only a few over 2,200 were made & were high priced cars for the time. Stewart-Warner used the iconic Coke Bottle pointers on these, which were probably left over stock from the Wings gauges of 1948-54. This speedometer uses old style side windows for lighting. This is an original gauge that has never been taken apart. It's a beautiful part of automotive history. $275 on this one & worth every penny. Shipping on each one of these will be $15 to the lower 48. PayPal would be best, but a Postal Money Order would work, as well. The first P.M. committing to buy, gets it.
