1950 pontiac coupe??

can anyone tell me the measurement from the firewall to the support on a 50 pontiac....we need to know if a car was a straight 8 or a six??? Thanks

 

I don't think there are any dimensional differences between the 6 and 8-cylinder models at all.

 

i just measured my girlfriends 50 straight 8 it comes in right at 41 inches from firewall to core support

 

Yeah, im also having a hell of a time trying to figure out if my 50 pontiac coupe is also a 6 or 8 cylinder car and what years of flathead inliners will bolt right in.

 

Canadian Pontiac or US?

 

Model number should tell if it is an eight or a six, let me know and I will Check .
