i know there is plenty of motor interchanges that have been in 1950 ford shoe boxs. i finally found a complete car to take every part from to swap into the shoe box its a ford mustang runs perfect, shift awsome. so now i need to find the best motor mounts to just bolt the motor in. i know jamco has them but from what ive read they take your money and never ship your parts. is there any other company out there that has motor and tranny mount that i can pay for and will get. thanks all info welcome....

Butch's Cool Stuff. I think that is what he calls himself now. Google should find it based on that.

Get a rear sump pan and a 90 degree oil filter adapter and you are on your way. I put a 289 in my 49 last year, pretty simple.

It can be done. Depends on the trans you plan to use. I stuck with the original 3spd w/ OD.
