Hi all, I am new to the forum from Northern Illinois! I hope my posting is o.k. I did read the "newbie" post and rules. I currently just picked up a 1950 Chrysler Windsor Highlander. It is all original including down to the owners certificate from 1950. Has factory seat covers on the seats but underneath are the plaid and leather. When running it sounds like an old smooth sewing machine. I love the semi-auto trans and how it shifts by just letting off the accelerator. I get inside and you can SMELL the old car smell, the wear and age the character of the car. I am a female who was raised with an appreciation of older cars. I just wanted to drop in and say hi before I go off getting lost reading all of your posts. I posted some photos below for your viewing pleasure. My idea on this is to keep it as original as possible while cleaning the car up. I am currently debating repainting it or not. I love suggestions and advice.
