    okay this fleetline is the oldest thing i have ever got my hands on so my question is what key position does it need to be in to start it cranks in 2 but i was told it only starts in one

    it's been so long I think I forgot... start is straight up. off and locked is to the right, and unlocked and off is to the left. if you leave it to the left you don't need the key to start it, the switch will go from off to on without a key.

    ... though I could be wrong.

    when its to the left it is off, straight up starts, and to the right it wont start either the right is just the radio accesory....atleast thats how i wired my car up

    Thanks guys that will help a ton now i can see if it will fire up instead of just runnin the poor little battery down
