View attachment 2958670 A project that I'll never likely get around to, this 1950 Chevy Fleetline Deluxe Sedan is up for sale so I can move forward on other projects. I brought this car home from Wisconsin a year ago and its been stored since. The story I got was the car was 'restored' in the early 1980's and then suffered a cracked block and was put out to pasture until 2014 when I dragged it home. It still smells like that pasture. I'll have more pictures later this week. Details: It has the original 216 and 3 speed and is complete from air cleaner to oil pan. It comes with a running 1953 low pressure 235 motor and Rochester Monojet carb to drop in if you'd like. Someone painted it green once, but it was originally grey. Lots of stainless is missing, as well as the front seat and window trim, but it does have the door panels, rear seat and good door handles and window cranks. All gauges are intact and the car also has its original AM radio. Some glass will need to be replaced but not all. Comes with 4 OEM rims and a good set of roller '56 Chevy wheels with trim rings. Body-wise the car is a typical 49-52. Floors and rockers are toast and the trunk has a few holes. Overall the doors, hood and trunk are decent and workable and the other panels are surprisingly solid. The 'patina' (I know) is incredible if you're into that sort of thing. My plan was to go through the 235 and buzz around town, but reality set in. Car is located 3 hours south of Chicago in Peoria, IL. Clean IL title in my name. Price: $950 or best offer. Would also trade for 47 Chevy or 56 Chevy parts.
