Anyone know of a good source to buy disc brakes that will work on the stock spindles on a 1950 Chevy! And you can run 14 inch wheels!? ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1415332257.937626.jpg

  2. I got mine from ECI, but not sure if they fit 14in wheels. I'm using 15 inch chrome reversed wheels.

  3. 51-54 car front brakes bolt on and will let you run 14's so far as I know. It converts them to Bendix style brakes. The set I put on the '50 I had cost me just some gas money. Later on I bought another set in a you-pick yard for like $40. Shoes, wheel cylinders, etc. can all still be had for them, I had that all redone for around $100.

Car would look much better with 15" wheels anyway.
(And yes, I know you didn't ask.)

Chevy of the 40's can help. 14" in wheel may be a little harder to work with than a 15".

I've got the ECI set up also, with 15" wheels. I don't know if you can run 14's or not, give them a call and ask,
