Made and installed the headliner and slipped in the back glass.

All those body working skills and you knock out your own headliner! Very cool! Nice work!

Thank you. I’ve done bodywork and upholstery for 47 years and taught both for 34. One of my favorite things to do is a sewn headliner from scratch.

That's a nice warm shade of grey. I like it, surprisingly enough!

Got all the wiring done except the dash (which isn’t painted yet) so it’s time for a little tail light Tuesday....

All I can say is you really nailed it with your take on a 50's Ranchero. Henry should of had you design it for him back in the day.

Took me a minute to realize that the photo shows 3 sets of belts not 2 as it appears at first glance. First class job.

  23. If I was worth 2 cents as a friend, I'd come over and you and I would have it painted in a few days. I fully understand your logic for not doing it but you are capable of getting lots of work done. With a little help. We'd have it painted and be drinking beer by now. :)

  25. I think a soft ray green glass would have been a better choice on the shoebox ranchero.. but hey it's your ride..
I really liked it in my 35 Ford Coupe/ keep the updates coming .. carpets looks great

IMO green doesn’t go with red and I don’t care for green anything. That’s what makes car life interesting…we all have different tastes.

On a positive note… after 2-3 weeks of other projects, honey do’s, and a few days of fun with grandkids I’m back at it. Some minor small tasks done and to see some progress I put the grille in. I’m in real need of a right grille bar. If anyone has a decent driver quality one let me know. Now to finish the interior…
