    havnt done much lately, just finishing up the odds and ends of the metal work. its running good though i drove it to the end of the road to pick up the mail again :D

    Very cool I love the 4 doors as my car for junior year and the start of senior year was a 30 Ford fordor. You can cram a ton of people in and they make for really fun evenings cruising about.

    Man that is one cool ride. You are going to get many smiles per gallon. It is a lot of work but well worth it when finished and your driving down the road.

    thanks! and i too have a soft spot for 4 door my dad had a 4 door 39 ford and thats the car that got me hooked.

    my dad and i sprayed primer today. i did a little over half. it was my fist time painting a car, pretty fun!

    Love the car I also own a 49 chev 4 door which I am putting a 350 + 350 auto in .

    thanks mark, is your avatar your fleetline? id love to see a build thread of your fleetline. i might be going to the swap meet and its possible but i live bout hour and a half away from vancouver.

    whats up!!! nice ride bro!!! Thought i was youngest pup on the hamb(22) untill today:D Its nice to see someone else whos is younger working on these old school rides.. Check out patriot side pipes on ebay $105 a pair they really look cool on these cars. For ideas search the hamb threads they got alot of good stuff on our year cars (pictures too) Keep us posted on the build maybe ill start a thread of my own for my 52 2dr. Check mine out let me know what ya think(need some ideas myself), mines also got the 4 inch blocks in back an 350/350 swap BTW im going metallic green with a white roof ( unless it looks too tall) with painted steelies/ Bullet caps with some wide whites. Oh ya Keep learning dads painting skills too that shit is soo fun once you get good at it

    thanks! checked out your 52 looks great! I wanna run a visor and skirts on mine. i think metallic green and white top would look good! are you planning on shaving the trim?

    Alothough they look killer all shaved up Ill prolly just leave the trim on the front fenders and doors but shave the trim on the quarters.... like this one

    Yep, that's my Fleetline. I dont have a bunch of pics but I'll look at what I have and send you a few.     Way cool build! As far as shaving the trim? ...Matter of taste. I still need to finish my beltline , rear window and windshield..but other than that all I kept was the spear.

    so i found a couple pictures of this coupe and i reeaaally like it. i want to do the color of my car similar to this one and possibly french the headlights like this too.

    no real updates on my just getting the body work done so we can move on the the next stage of primer.
