I like the way they appear to be the same angle as the trunk lid. Don't think I've ever seen that before.

It won't be long, now, that you'll be sanding body filler

I think you're referring to the quarter window template? I believe it'll be glass in the final build.

  21. Incredible attention to detail.
This is the type of custom fab I like to see. I can walk around it for an hour and still find custom touches, see it a month later and see a couple I missed the first time.
    Very nice.

Hello Mirko73, I know you do a beautiful job on your Caddy, but I think you miss a little the target about the rear bumper guards......(it's just my opinion, your job is cool;)).
For me something wrong when I look your picture.....
There is two lines......the trunk (maybe is your choice, but you are not adjust correctly in the trunk line), or the bumper line.
I choose the bumper.......what I see is that.....

I'm not a photoshop man, I try to explain what I was expected....something like that.....

Again, you job is really cool, and congratulation for your nice car, and sharing with us.:)

First of all thank you for your attention.
Now, i think it's just a prospect problem. I prefer follow trunk line and not bumper line. Also for me it is difficult to see the details in the photos but I assure you that live is a nice effect. Thanks for all

My interpretation of what Rat was saying is that he would like to see the bumper guards horizontal on the top rather than sloped to match the trunk lid.
I personally prefer the slope. I think it was a great touch to tie the bumper line to the body lines.
    Beautiful job.

Like the slope on bumper guards - but would love to have seen them little further apart and angled to the side to match line from side windows to line at sides of trunk lid. Can not photo shop, hope you understand my idea. See 1st pic in post 640; imagine line from side windows down along trunk side to rear bumper. Love car awsome build

Exactly, what i say is not about the style, i love the sloping guards too, the problem is the angle. Actualy, the bumper guards seems not follow any lines of the car.

Hi Mirco....I like what you have done....The thing about custom is, its your idea...thats why its different..to many people copy ideas and insist it must be done to a certain platitude to appease the norm...you and your companions are doing a fabulous job ..Its gone from a basket case to something highly desirable...looking forward to its completion...
Photo is my 49.. rear view.. was a four door Fleetwood ..5" chop made into a 2 door ...runs 77 DeVille ..engine.. auto .. diff . m_IMG_4500.JPG

Would exiting the exhaust through the bumper end tie the rear bumper detail maybe 54-56 Cadillac style.....
