Anyone fill the roof on a 49-50 prefect using a hood panel from another car?Is there any one roof from another car that seems to be better than the others - in terms of a close fit ( curve/shape etc.) I would like a bolt in panel if possible - yes I am going to recover it so that it looks like the stock one.

  2. I used a roof from a 67 Ford fairlane..,flipped it around backwards..fit pretty decent..contour was dead on..some have used taurus/tempo's ..i welded it on, leaving a lipped edge for the rubber seal to fit in..

I had heard the tempo / Taurus worked but this kind of confirmed it. Thanks for the info
