Hi there, I bought this 48 Pontiac from US last year. My plan is to restore it step by step back to orignal. I am just in the beginning of dismantle the chassis from the frame and this because the floor need some replacement of steel! Hope that one day it will be back on the road with no rust on it :D 12516857_10153309850166415_1212934425_o.jpg

Hi & welcome. Nice looking old Pontiac. I love all the GM vehicles from the 40's. Your body exterior appears to be good & I hope there are no more suprises in rust as you go along. Is that the straight eight engine. They really ran well.
Post more photo's on the HAMB as work progresses.

    Good luck, Jimmie

Love it. Looks to be the 'B' body with longer WB and not an 'A'. Keep that in mind when looking for trim or body parts. Data plate will have to numbers you need. Do yourself a favour and get Fisher body and Pontiac workshop manuals. Most things are available, rubbers through Steels etc etc. NOS parts turn up every now and again.
