Just got back from the Pick your part wilimington,ca There is a complete early Poly engine in a late 40's early 50's Ford 1/2 F1 pickup, the truck looks like it had it;s day as show truck, glitter paint and scallops. near complete all fenders and hood and doors are there, the engine is minus a car, four barrel intake. no driveshaft but has a torqueflight auto in there> I could tell by the drum brake they use for a parking brake. I didn't check to see if the steel wheels were 16", o well! just putting it out there for anyone looking for an engine or ford truck parts in LA.

I only saw like 3 pre 70's cars there- the pick a part in ontario usually has more vintage stuff. after that just hitting the local craigslist for parts cars is the way to go.
