I needed to ask about my 47 Ford that I purchased recently, the previous owner installed a 1993 Ford Explorer rear with a 4 1/2" bolt pattern, I just bought 4 new rims to fit the rear ,but my car still has the stock wide bolt pattern front drums, I was going to get adapters to mount the new wheels to but is there another front drum that will work for this 4 1/2" bolt pattern? Thank you for your time on this.

nothing that will just "bolt on"
you will need to redrill the originals, or updrade to disc brakes

  3. or get wheels with 5 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern to fit the front

nothing wrong with two bolt patterns on one car
