I have a set of front and rear backing plates and drums from a 1946 Ford 1/2 ton truck chassis. Im going to use them on my '30 coupe. Im looking to replace the Wheel cylinders with new ones. Can anyone tell me what make, model, and year of vehicle will work? For example a 1976 Ford bronco. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
there are later model cylinders that fit. they are available at most of the aftermarket parts stores. post on ford barn, I am sure that somebody on that sight will have the info you need.
Duhhh why not purchase the correct wheel cylinders for the brakes, they are easily available from any antique parts supplier and do the job the way they were intended to rather than some cob job mismatch stuff.
