Projects 1946 MERCURY HUBCAP ON EARLY HOT ROD

    Can someone post some photos of a 32 Ford or Model A hot rod with 1946 Mercury Hubcaps, or 47-48 mercury hubcap, preferably 1946. I did a search on the forum and on google and couldn't find any photos, but think these caps might look good on a hot rod. Thanks

    memory says the '46 merc hubcaps are deeper than most... they clear the model A rear hubs/axles...

    Best looking caps for a hotrod steel wheel IMHO! 46 or 48- can't go wrong either way!

  21. If I remember correctly you must use a Mercury wheel to be able to use a Mercury hub cap.

    same mounting ring , dia of cap is larger
