Well, I am going to be in trouble with my wife who has some idea of how much money I have put in this car but I am reducing the price to $8,500. Gosh but I hate to sell this neat old Ford by I do not have indoor storage for it and don't want it sitting out in the weather. This is a 46 Ford with 47 Ford front fenders. The body is all steel except rear tail pan. All the chrome has been shaved off as well as the rain gutters. The windshield has been V butted. It sits on an S10 chassis with power brakes (disc/drum). It has a 305 Oldsmobile engine, turbo 350 trans, and GM 10 bolt rearend. It has a Cooling Components fan with a new Tough Stuff water pump and power steering pump. It has a new 99 amp alternator. It has Vintage Air heat/defrost/air conditioning. Two speed windshield wipers. All lights and gauges work but speedometer is way off so I use a GPS unit for accurate speed. It has a third brake light and also a rear view camera. It has seat belts. Only negatives with this car is mileage on the engine is unknown but probably a lot of miles so not great oil pressure. The interior is just average and the paint job (hot rod flat black) is less than average in my mind though looks plenty good enough for local car shows, cruise nights and just plain fun. The car looks like the way a lot of cars looked when I was growing up in the 50s. Now an additional bad is that in a brain fade I managed to back an OT car into the front of the coupe and hurt the grill a bit and now cannot close the hood though the hood has no damage. The sale of the car includes a good quality car cover. You can reach me by PM here on the Hamb or at [email protected]
Apparently the sale of my car has fallen through so my neat old Ford is still very much for sale and in need of a new home.
Just a reminder that a business coupe does not have a back seat. Have had a couple expressions of interest that did not know that.
Well, I really would like to find this neat old Ford a good home where it could be inside rather than sitting out in whatever the weather brings. Make me a serious offer and I will probably take it.
