Have a few questions about Ford Pickup
wich model was possible to bay in 1941? 1/2 tonn 3/4 tonn 1 tonn.
    Do they look the same?

Is it short bed and long bed, or only one size on the bed?
Did all of them have the fillercap on the left fender, or did some of them have the fillercap on the right side on the cab?
    Hope someone can help ;o)

    Thanks

Jorn, I did not find much information on production figures or any chassis details but I did find some pictures. As far as the gas cap goes maybe an Australian pickup would have used a right side gas cap.

1940 -41 pickups were almost the exact same, the difference was the badgeing on hood and on the dash,, the 40 has a similar hood ornament as the car, the 41 has the 'waterfall' large nose. The one ton has the same same cab but with larger and different fenders, the fenders have headlight on stands. In 42 as the war started Ford used the same cab, but moved the gas tank inside the cab, hence the gas door behind the door. Ford used the same cab during the war and after the war to 47-8 (?). Now you can put 40 fenders on the 42+ cabs, but they need some work where the fender meet the cowl, it is not much. Also during the war, military trucks had swing out windshields like the early mid 30's Fords.
