1941 Buick rearend lenght?

Does anybody know the overall lenght of a stock
1941 Buick 66s 2dr fastback rearend?
I need to replace it with a modern
rearend. Thanks guys. Hemi j

Caprice sedan is exact width.

I have used a rear from a 1977 Caprice sedan on my preivious 41Buick and I know for sure that a 1986 rear is the same width as I have one on my 47 Olds. It must be from a sedan cause the wagon rear is 2" longer. I guess you can use rears from 70-90 Caprice.

I'm using a ford 9 inch out of a 59 ford wagon and it fits perfect .I didn't have to move the springs or spring perches. good luck!

For future threads, I was just able
to measure the 41's rear and it's
62" axle to axle.
