Not sure if I'm selling or keeping and also not sure which build direction to go.
check box A if it should be a street car with 4" taken off the bottom
Or check box B if it should be a 60's SIMPLE cheap gasser.
OR cut the top off and make a stock convertible
B ! B ! B!

Did I say B ?
Some cool parts came with the car, halibrand small window rear wheels, a donor sedan, Hemi chain drive, hilborn injection, olds rear end. So, with that list of parts, it almost seems like I HAVE to build a gasser but I already have one.
I feel like now is the time to think outside the box.
I couldn't have said it better myself.
A gasser AND convertible!!!
Howza bout a hot rod street car Without 4" of the bottom missing?
Something kind of like this, NOT street rod-ish. HEMI powered would still work.
Please go with Plan B.
I recommend selling it to me. If you decide to sell, let me know.
I'd make a pig roaster / meat smoker out of it. You could set up the chain drive as a rotisserie.
Super cool score dude!
I thought they were all gassers from the factory.
I can easily picture a low budget looking hemi-fied willys gasser. Maybe a 37-38 front end?
I guess Paul Pittman out of Van Nuys originally bought the Hilborn. Maybe Paul is short for K.S. , ha ha ha
No matter what you do, the car definitely came with some Kool parts!
B for me, the picture looks familiar. KS Pittman had a brother named Paul that was also a drag racer. It could be the same guy. You have got some good parts and a good start there.
Please, no more gassers. Make it driveable for long trips
Make it a sled.ive seen a couple done nicely.basically lowered and the roof chopped .no other body mods needed
If your four port Hilborn could talk it might have some interesting history.
Could have been on this car around that 1968 time frame...KS Pittman's brothers, Paul and Silas were active racers on the West Coast for quite a while.
And it may have moved to this car also.....
AND SURVIVED THIS!!
Interesting! If only this injector could talk.
I really don't want another coupe project but life keeps throwing parts at me to build it! This sedan is a perfect candidate for a coupe body swap.
It's almost like this car WANTS to get built.
It looks like someone spent a lot of money on the rack and pinion and ford 9".
I couldn't resist the temptation to annoy my neighbors, car is stripped!
Nice! I wanted that sedan, but shipping costs killed it for me.
That's the 4-door from Hesperia isn't it?
Separate names with a comma.
