This is my 1940 Dodge D17. Its life started as a four door car. It was converted into a three window Coupe by the Menges Twins Speed shop out of California. The build was started many years ago and stopped. I purchased the car in Nov. 2020. The car now lives in south Texas. I still have a ton to do but it is well on its way.

I have installed a 56 Desoto FireFlight 330 with a ford T5 trans. built floors (need to removed to bead roll). Steering. peddle assembly. fuel tank. shocks etc. etc. been busy.

Hope you can see out of those tiny windows! Looks too extreme to me. Otherwise good luck on the build.

That is a very noble project! As a fellow MOPAR owner ( 1947 Dodge D-24 3 window business coupe ) I am glad to see another cool MOPAR project making progress!

I like the hideaway headlight treatment. Looks like a tribute to the '42 Desoto.

Goofy! Weird! Wicked AWESOME! The DeSoto and T-5 are perfect for it, too. Good for you! Hope there's enough fender room to steer it, though.

Looks like the car is on air bags (or he intends it to be), in the front view without the fenders, the lower control arms are nearly touching the frame and all 4 control arms are pointing upward at the ball joints.

Not my cup of tea, but another Hemi powered Mopar is OK with me.

Nice project. As a suggestion if it were mine I would somehow lower the the front of the hood. Looks like its going to be out of proportion to the rear slope
