Projects 1939 Ford traditional dash picture

    Stayed with original 39 dash. Plans to paint dash and garnish trim satin back when I add interior items. my 39 dash .jpg

    Mine is still in progress but I put a 1950 Chrysler Imperial Limo dash in it. Extended the glove box two inches and filled in either side of the centre louver. Its now drilled for a matching clock etc. IMG_0589.jpg

    so you can get a speedometer and quad guage in 3 sizes
    5'' = 125mm - aftermarket
    4 3/8'' -= 110mm - stock size
    3 3/8 '' =85mm / 86mm - dolphin
     
  7. Actually - you also have to trim the dash and back connections for the 51/52 truck gauges by the work that was done by the previous owner of my 39 coupe - he said he regretted it but that was way before all the new style gauges came out.
