I've owned 4 Woodies over the years, and this is by far the nicest. But it appears that '38-'39's are unique in that the spare is mounted inside on the back of the driver's seat, which is tied into the b-pillars, making the seat non-adjustable. This really tightens up the whole body structure, and this is extremely quiet for a Woody. BUT, at 6'2" / 205 lbs, I have to find away to slim down the seat back by about 3". The seat back is about 10" thick at its widest, and very sturdily built. There's almost no deflection when you sit on it. I guess I can take it out and see if I can cut or tie down the springs. Has anyone else run into this? Thanks
