    Nice start! Looks like the first thing ya did was ditch those horrible headlight bezels. Good move :D

    great starting point for a custom.They have such great lines you cant go wrong..well unless the chop goes bad

    Well here we go...had a good Saturday started gettin her stripped down for sand blasting. Very pleased because the bolts came out easy. The inner fender wells were rust free. Front floor pans were GREAT! Trunk pan has some rust...but it is where I will modify it soo its all good.Rear tool box area and rear pan is great. All in all still a great desert car. More pix soon After i get her sandblasted if you wanna groove on it... (=....And I want to thank everybody that took the time to give me ideas on how to make this car kick ass!!! I appreciate it and cant do it without you!!Drew

    Wow. Nice find. Take your time and do it right. When done correctly, the 39 Merc customs are the most beautiful of all.

    Well after a year or so of finding parts from awsome friends here on the hamb.. I back on the merc build. I had the body dustless blasted today. It was very different than sand blasting. The clean up is horrible incredible. But im going to get her primed in the morning. Ill post some more of merc adventure tomorrow.
