Yes it is! It is currently at machine shop waiting for pistons. Should get it back in about a month or so to start assembly of it. The body tub is just about ready for paint, I’m searching for some parts that are missing. I need some pre war SW gauges and some Kelsey Hayes bent spoke wheels. I need 5x5 1/2 bolt pattern.... I do have four 5x4 1/2 if anybody is looking for some. I’ll post more pictures when I figure out how to get them out of file, I guess the H.A.M.B. app doesn’t allow it.

  11. Tdracer,

That is great to hear! Saw that your join date is pretty recent- spend a little time learning how to navigate on the HAMB with a computer, and I'm sure you'll find just about everything you need (between people reaching out to you and the classifieds) for the restoration!

If you post your general location in your profile a member close to you might have the wheels or other parts you're looking for or knows someone who does. Just a suggestion. Looking forward to further updates of this cool piece of history.

What is it based on...it's looks like a Hollywood Graham but I think not...39 Chrysler Imperial perhaps? Coach built...quality is stunning...that's 2 Hotrods that I've seen utilizing that front sheetmetal and trim and both are survivors it seems...How well did it do at, would it be El Mirage?...

Engine is now sitting in car. Paint work is done, now trying to put everything back the way it was in 1938. If anyone has anymore pictures, they would be appreciated.

This photo popped up last week. It was probably taken in 1947. 0ED73DD0-49D0-4A7D-9BF7-251A144F46CD.jpeg
