Hot Rods 1938 Austin "Big 7"

Does anyone know where the VIN number is located on a 1938 Austin "Big 7"? Anyone know if this would be a good candidate for a hot rod?

But post some pics. Also tell about your plans.
Have no clue about frame number, not VIN.

 

On the American Austins/Bantams it's on the top of the left frame rail ahead of the firewall.
