Holy shit. I remember seeing that Willys at a car show at the Rhode Island School for the Deaf back in the I think early 80’s. That was the only time I saw it any more info on it

  7. I was looking for an Austin on the web and it popped up, funny looking Austin, I think I've seen a photo of it a magazine before.

Well thanks for posting it. That was the first Willys I ever saw.

61 Winternationalss, Joe Pisano's Chevy-powered Model A and Floyd Grist's Ford-equipped Willys advanced to Little Eliminator, Joe had won AGas Supercharged and set both ends of the national record at 11.981.

Hope you don’t mind that I took the opportunity to rework the photo you posted.
I think I’m fairly close on the coloring of the car, I used another picture I saw on the web.

That first Anglia, orange in the right lane is the Cali Bros. A/G. Friends of mine they ran Indy in I believe 65. Another Jack Merkel sponsored car.

I'm pretty sure that photo is from upstate NY and Bob Dastalto is "Bucksnort" on hamb. He owns the M/P 57 Chevy wagon by the same name. He is from the upstate area.

What I posted is correct. Last seen on hamb Mar. 19 2019. I usually see him at my Rhinebeck space and the Dover Nostalgia Drags. His 57 wagon was up there in Sept but I didn't see him.

Posted by @Ryan in the 150 photos from Texas thread. Possibly Mike Kuhl from St. Louis.
