Does any one have any pictures of Earl Dody's light blue 40-41 willys coupe that ran out of the Denver area? I think he ran a 413 motor and he was a friend of my dads.

    Thanks for the help,

I showed dad that picture of Earl Dody's car and he said that he must have built the 33 after the 40-41 willys coupe that I am looking for pictures of.

    Thanks,

Don't have that one. I think Earl was a transmission guy? May still be...

I couldn't find that picture anywhere either. He was a transmission guy. There is a sports modified MGA called Assasination from the Denver area that says torque flight by Earl Dody on the quarter panel. I might be lucky to find pictures of his 40-41 willys coupe.

I have that pic also. Didn't/don't know Earl but lived in Larkspur for 5 years and heard his name mentioned at Bandimere where I ran my '73 Camaro a few times.

Any rememebr the 37-38 blue Willys coupe that raced at Lebanon Valley and New England Dragway in the '60's? I heard it was maybe from the Fitchburg area or out that way.

Bob Ida. Supposedly the Fastest 409 at the time. I guess he bought the crate engine with his lunch money in high school! ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1390871529.458556.jpg

My favorite Gasser from the 60's Gasser Wars. U.S. 131 Dragway in Martin, Michigan, used to put on the best Gasser shows. Curt

Randy Ferguson helped me make the new rear fenders and rockers. I wanted the gaps to fit better than the originals. Bear claw latches are finished and the doors open and shut great. Seat is made and fits comfortably. Making steering column now. Hopefully paint around July this year.
