I like this version! Outstanding look.

 

These original stockers are very appealing to me after all these years of Willys Hot Rods.

Probably already been posted but heres a few pics I have saved that I like.

 

These are the same car, and the guy in the picture with the two young kids put the Wild Willy name on the door, sometime back in the '70. Car sits as you see it in a pole barn not too far from the twin cities. Car was a Willys once owned by Al Tschida, and it was the car he built after winning the '64 Nats in C/gas with one almost identical to this one. He never had this one for long, as it went to California, and then returned to Minnesota a few years later. Current owner bought it in the mid '80's.

This is from a slide my dad took in the summer of 1967 at Oswego drag strip west of Chicago. Sure looks like the same car to me.

 

He is the ONLY reason my coupe was successfully built.

really Diggin those 70,s pics Kyle . right before they fell into the black hole of 80,s prostreet . slowly coming back into main stream one car at a time.As it was in the beginning shall remain the tradItion This is LiL Porky Willys at Laplace Dragways out of Houma LA. the ending of this track and cars like this around here PS RIGHT UNDER THE CHECKERED WALK WAY STANDS THE ROLLERS WERE INCORPARATED THERE TO START THE FUEL CARS , IF YOU WERE LUCKY ENUFF TO GET A SPOT THERE , YOU REALLY GOT A SHOW . IT WAS REALLY HYTEC, SO YOU DIDNT HAVE TO PUSH DOWN THE TRACK TO START YOUR RAIL
