I cant find any info or pictures of a original 1937 to 1942 Willys asphalt hood welt/lace. I am in need of the screw spacing in inches. Some may say they didn't have any and others say they did, I have checked two cars that both were repainted and cant find any holes. I am wanting to install on a 1941 and would like the spacing of the screws to be as close to original as possible. Thanks, Dave.

1939 and 1940 did not have any holes. The 1939s have a couple of holes where the firewall return lip is spot welded to the cowl but they are not for hood lace. The holes are only on the return flange and not drilled through the cowl itself. The 1940s do not have these holes on the return flange....
