Looks like I got booted off the Traditional side of the group. But here is my 37 Stude Coupe. 454 Auto, Ford diff on a 4 link, 15x15s in the rear. IMG_6274.JPG

    Hey Sal...How've you been ?

Pretty cool. Got a bit of air in the rear tires..!? One whole tread section off the ground.
Anyway, looks good. The SDC guys will hate you for this car. Are you gonna paint it, or leave it as is ?

Don't sweat it. I get booted a lot. Just don't mention the dreaded M2, or show pictures of it. It was cool in the booted post and it's still cool now. But like I mentioned in the booted post, it'd still be cooler in paint.

Hey Mike. Doin well. Loving the 37 and all the hate coming from the SDC crowd. I may or may not run the fenders on it. I have a nice set up in the mezzanine. Next project might be a Gasser Coupe Express. I've got a 36 cab and bed. Just about to fetch a frame and front clip. More hate coming.

Do you have fenders for it or are you going to leave it like it is?

  9. Looks nice.....my grandpa supposedly had a coupe express for a shop truck.....no pictures....here he is at the shop at 910 12th street - Sacramento - in 1932....don't have the address for the earlier shop with the tow rig out front. grandpa tow truck by shop.jpg grandpa tow truck by shop.jpg grandpa tow truck by shop.jpg grandpa tow truck by shop.jpg grandpa at shop 1932.jpg grandpa tow truck by shop.jpg grandpa at shop 1932.jpg

That's what I was afraid of.:(

  11. I really don't want to like that, but it is pretty cool. Better than I would expect without fenders.

Not all of us are against modifying our Studebakers. There are a lot of members of the SDC that have such cars and trucks.
