    Do you have any close up pics of the headlight lenses?

  2. I am thinking that this car started life as a 37 or 38 Willys coupe and was highly modified. Length of chassis looks like a Willys to me. Headlight pods look like it to me. I need a better picture. Grill is obvisouly not from a Willys. Give us some better detailed pictures and we might be able to nail it down for you.

    Not from the front and the headlights are out of the car at present. I'll get more photos as work progresses.

    Yep...and it's not just *any* 1946 Henway Gran Prix either!!! This one's
    a genuine, super-ultra-rare 'Edsel Murphy & Alphonso De Credenza'
    inspired, '46 Henway Gran Prix "Fait A Partir De La Merde"
    Custom-Deluxe Slope-Nose roadster, no less!!!!!! I don't know what's in
    it for a motor and transmission now, but originally the "Fait A Partir De
    La Merde
    " roadsters came from the factory with 13-speed Fuller 'Road
    Ranger 'crash boxes' and 12.5 liter, sleeve-valve, inverted V16's, with
    four 'reverse-cross-compounded turbochargers and hydrodynamicly-balanced
    solar-powered 'cold-fusion' intercoolers!!!! :eek::eek::D:D
