Here is what I have done so far to my 1937 Chevrolet truck. I bought it off of Craigslist here in Houston a few months ago. It was a 1937 1-1/2 ton truck. I am using a 1951 Chevy 1/2 ton frame, a cut down 1947 Chevy bed, and a 35 Chevy grille. I have a long ways to go still. I just mounted Posies front drop springs and a disc brake kit. I still have the original springs on the rear that will be lowered later. I'm going to Z the frame a bit in the front. I'll eventually chop the top 2 inches or so. I have a 292 inline 6 and a 350 laying around that are both perfect drop in engines. I haven't decided yet on which one to use. It will have to be a standard shift no matter what because I haven't learned how to drive an automatic. I want this to be kind of a hi-boy fenderless truck.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

I got a build thread going on a 37 Chevy PU myself. I'll be keeping an eye on this one too. Keep us posted.

Note the picture that was taken in the rain. You can still see the original 1937 hood before I cut off the nose of it to make it fit the 35 grille that I bought. I sold the original 37 grille.
