1937 chev truck

    Ive been working on this truck now for about 2 months. Chopped 5 1/2", Z'd 9", frame shortened 22" in the back, 425 Caddy engine etc ....more pics to come, Jay

  3. I want some TECH. What'd you do with the frame? Stubbs? Plans for front end? More, please, I want MORE!

  4. is that a 36 radiator shroud? the nose on my 37 is a little bit different . curious but you do have a damn good start ! more picz!!

    Agreed... It looks like my 36 radiator shroud.... Gives me some inspiration for my 36 I'll start hacking on here soon.

    the rad shroud is from a 35 chev 2dr sedan, I'm also using the bucket seat from the 35 as well

    Hey Jay...what's up...long time no see. Hows life at the wheel shop? Is the Falcon finally on the road, or is it on the side burner? The truck looks sweet. I'm coming up your way on the 24th of this month for surgery, I'll swing by and check out your progress. By the way, did you hear about the swap meet this coming weekend in Yorkton?     wondering what the tubes going through the arms are... Very nice use of a rearend from a chevelle/lemans.

    Maybe another site? Or here a couple months ago?

    Very cool! I might do something like that on a '37 I got.

    the dif is from a 76 coupe deville, and the arms are 2x2 .125 on edge with 1 1/2" .125 sleeves.....

    Wow that looks cool, I like the engine placement high instead of down low in the frame like most do it.

    Looking good, keep us updated.

    I hope you'll continue to post more pictures of your build. I just have to add a truck in that style to my future builds. First I have a 1955 Chevrolet 1/2 ton and 1951 Merc to build. But theirs no reason I can't find one now and have it waiting :)
