Technical 1937 / 38 cowl sides

Hi everyone who reads this.

I have been looking for lower cowl sides, where the fenders bolts on to the cowl for my 38 deluxe build now for a while, as mine are completely rotten but had absolutely no luck. Now today I have been told 37 cowl sides are the same as 38 deluxe cowl sides, does anyone know if this is correct please ? As this would make my search a lot easier.

I think '38 Standard is the same as '37 but think '38 Deluxe is different. Check with the guys on the Ford Barn forum, somebody there will know for sure.

 

Thanks , I have posted on their. I have noticed on Wescottautos that they sell a patch panel for the section I want that is for 37 /38 deluxe / 39 standards , but want to get clarification from people that know
