Good morning fellas ,I’m helping my friend work on his 1936 Ford four-door all stock. Trying to talk him into hydraulic brakes,my question is will the original 36 wide five brake drums fit on 1940 Ford brakes and backing plates ?thank you.[IMG][IMG]

If memory serves me you need '37 up spindles to bolt up juice backing plates and I think '37 to '39 drums also...

You will need to swap your front brake drums out for 1937 to 39 front drums. Don't forget the spacer kit.
