    SOLD

The Good: It's a real 1936 Ford rumble seat roadster, all steel car. It had a body off amateur restoration. 59ab engine with Edelbrock heads and Offy intake, 39 trans, 39 rear, 39 juice brakes, 39 column. 12V neg ground converted.
Lot's of new parts throughout including; Walker radiator and electric fan, Powermaster one wire alternator, Powermaster starter, Stromberg 97 carbs, Mallory unilite dizzy and coil, All wiring with signal stat turn signals, New Vintage USA guages, Holley electric fuel pump, Fuel tank, lines, Smitty's mufflers, 5.50 Coker classic radial front tires and 7.00 Coker classic rear radial tires, repro trim/chrome, seat springs and covers, Stainless steel top frame, bows, and wood, but no top material is included. I do have the painted to match rear spare tire assy and longer rear bumper brackets if you prefer that look.

The Bad: The Engine is going to need to be rebuilt. Paint and body work isn't top notch either.

The Story: I bought this from an older gentlemen in his 80's. The car was done but not running. It was a real '36 roadster and this was was literately in my backyard, so I bought it not running. Unfortunately after getting it running I soon determined that the excess smoke was a bigger problem than just some light blow by. After about 50 miles of driving I drained the oil and I found some metal in it and noticed the oil pressure going away as well. I simply don't have the time or interest to take on pulling this engine and getting it rebuilt. I have decided to let this 36 Roadster go as is.

You are more than welcome to come out and hear it run and take it for a short ride. It starts right up, runs cool, and there is no knocking noises. That said it has excessive smoke and there was metal in the oil and the oil pressure is going away. It's a shame, but it is what it is.

SOLD. I have a clean title in my name. I am not interested in any trades. Message me if you have more questions. I work a lot of hours so please be patient for my response. Thank you
