    1936 Ford 3 Window Coupe


    BODY: Original Ford, All Steel, top chopped 2 ½ inches, roof filled, new floors and rockers, headlights lowered 1 inch, 39 Ford taillights, gas filler moved to trunk with catch tray and drain, Original style 36 Ford taillights with very rare clear glass lenses used as front parking and turn signal lights, mounted behind stock horn grills. Original crank out windshield and cowl vent. Lizard Skin ceramic coating applied to bottom of body, rear inner fender wells, inside of all fenders and the bottom of the new Bob Drake vulcanized running boards, prior to paint. Complete interior and trunk sheet metal covered with Dynamat.
    CHASSIS: TCI complete, with chrome and polished stainless package, Mustang II front suspension with coil springs, power rack & pinion steering with Borgeson polished stainless steering linkage, parallel leaf spring rear suspension, front and rear sway bars, Ford 9 inch rear end, 3.50 posi, 31 spline axles. Power disc brakes front and rear with proportioning valve and S/S lines. Dynotech 3 ½ inch aluminum driveshaft. Rock Valley 20 gallon stainless steel gas tank with in-tank electric fuel pump.
    ENGINE: Roush 342RE, Ford 302 cu in stroked to 342 cu in, New Dart 4 bolt block, forged crankshaft, rods and pistons, hydraulic roller cam and roller rockers, aluminum Air Flow Research heads, electronic fuel injection, dynoed at 460 HP. Billet Specialties Tru Trac serpentine belt system, Sanderson headers and exhaust system with magnaflow mufflers, all ceramic coated, Walker Z series radiator, Cooling Components 2,700 CFM fan and shroud.
    TRANSMISSION: Bowler, custom built for this car, Ford 4R70W automatic, wide ratio gear set, electronic lock-up converter, Compushift electronic controller, external cooler.
    ELECTRICAL: Ron Francis wiring, weather pack connectors, Nu-Relics original style power window regulators including rear with original 36 Ford window crank switches, power cowl vent, 6-way power seat with 12v charging port, Classic gauges, 140 amp alternator, Interstate battery in vented sealed box.
    OPTIONS: Vintage Air A/C & heat. Alpine sound system with remote control, power amp, iPod, Bluetooth and Satellite Radio. Movable/removable cup holder.
    CUSTOM INTERIOR: Aviation grade leather throughout including trunk, original style wool broadcloth headliner, German squareweave wool carpets. Reclining seatbacks, sunvisors with original style vanity mirror. Custom lower steel dash panel added to original dash for A/C controls and vents, and ignition, lights and wiper switches.     CUSTOM PAINT & BODY WORK: DuPont ChromaPremier single stage paint, all custom colors. Color sanded and polished. By Brandon Penserini, Altissimo, American Canyon CA,
    TRIM: All exterior trim is original polished stainless steel except hood nose, windshield frame and license plate frame. Original style interior trim, including window and door handles, except on lower dash panel. Chrome by Sherm’s.
    WHEELS & TIRES: Wheel Vintique Gennie steel wheels, 15x6 front, 15x7 rear. BF Goodrich radial wide whitewall tires, P185/70R15 front, P235/70R15 rear. Original style 40 Ford Standard hub caps and trim rings.
    ADDITIONAL FEATURES: Stainless steel fasteners, many polished and some black anodized, are used throughout this car except where high strength was needed, mainly on suspension parts. New smoke tinted safety glass. There were many, very hard to find, NOS parts used on this car including windshield regulator, exterior door handles, door latches and internal door latch mechanism, trunk latch, rear fender braces, side window metal glass channels, ash tray, domelight and more. There is also an additional complete, ready to install, 4 piece hood with louvered tops, 6 rows of louvers, 100 total, which is painted, has all stainless trim, hood handles and rubber bumpers for the car.
    RESTORATION: This car received a very extensive nut and bolt, frame-off, rotisserie restoration, with great attention to detail, subtle modifications to the appearance and modern updates to functionality.
    PERFORMANCE: This car was built to be driven and enjoyed. It handles and steers well, rides comfortably and smooth and can be driven all day long. At the same time, with 460 horsepower it is fast. The electronic fuel injection and electronically controlled automatic transmission add to the overall drivability and reasonable fuel economy.
