Just some Pics of this very rare car...There are just 14 more left in the rest of the world...This one is from Rio de Janeiro...
would give a nice bomb ,like my friends graham ,i guess there was 4 still around now we know 3 and 2 graham hotrods
nice avatar of Albert Santos Dumont, always like "La Demoiselle". Any story behind the picture? btw the K is cool.
There was a guy here in Lubbock TX that had this '35 model K sport coupe, he passed away last summer and the car has since disappeared from his barn (his daughter was handling all his old cars) hopefully someone is restoring it back to it's true glory
OCPG values for '35 K Phaeton 1. $124,000 2. $86,800 3. $55,800 4. $24,800 5. $14,880 6. $4,960 I would have thought the values would be higher, but at any rate, it's a beautifully designed car, and the Phaeton is the most valuable '35 K.
This one is in Australia, quite a feat really given the time and the $ involved to get it here back then. Its unrestored too.
This is a picture of the car when it was serving brazilian Governement 1942...Soon I will tell all the story...
i have heard about the guy in lubbock who had all that stuff...his daughter auctioned alot of it off and the rest it supposed to get crushed..theres some decent stuff still there..
Strangely, yesterday I went and looked at a 37 K Lincoln. The owner wants to hot rod it, keeping the original V12. I am writing a proposal now.
Is the car in brazil going to be saved....by someone who knows what they are doing? Or are the kids pushing it gonna restore it?
That picture is from 1990..When the car was found in a farm in Sao Paulo..It had been stolen and disapeared for 6 years...Now it is back in a Museum wich is keeping it unrestored...
Very cool car and it's great to see it has some history. For some reason, the Lincoln V-12 prices are about 40% less then the equivalent Packard V-12. They do sell cheaper than you would think.
